(I'm reposting this because my other post got cut off below the video I posted about the SNL sketch.)
The AV Club (avclub.com) discovered that last night's Twin Peaks episode has a live link to Matthew Lillard and Ruth's website discussing alternative dimensions is live and online at thesearchforthezone.com. I did a WHOIS on the domain to see if I could find any more domains registered by the show creators, but unfortunately, it's registered by Domains by Proxy through GoDaddy and hosted by a company called BlackMesh. (You can see the WHOIS info here: centralops.net/co/DomainDossier.aspx?addr=thesearchforthezone.com&dom_whois=true&dom_dns=true&traceroute=true&net_whois=true&svc_scan=true ). The AV Club's article is here avclub.com/tvclub/think-out-loud-exposition-heavy-twin-peaks-257849 and here avclub.com/article/matthew-lillards-mysterious-website-twin-peaks-onl-257864. There are lots and lots of links to explore, including a video with the Twin Peaks theme and a lot of mysterious jibberish in the background which might be backmasking and if someone wants to record it and play it backwards looking for clues, that might yield some interesting finds. For example, click on the animation of the wind at the very bottom of the page above the 2nd tree on the left and it will take you to some Lost Highway looking footage. And if you click "Click here to read my older journal entries" click on here it will quickly say "404 page not found" but then take you to the footage I mentioned above. I didn't listen long enough for it to repeat, but after the Twin Peaks theme, it seems to play a song I remember from the first or second series of the show, or maybe one of the songs from this season - I can't remember.
If anyone finds anything interesting, please share it!
