Here is a theory for Series 3:

When Coop is trying to get out of the lodge world in Part 3, he walks towards a plug socket with the number 15 over it. Naido then pulls him away and pulls the lever thing to change the number to 3 (I assume). Cooper then goes back to the socket and all of him is drawn into the no. 3 socket. I'm guessing that means he is transferred into the current Part 3 of the series, rather than Part 15. Part 15 is when he sticks the fork in the socket and becomes full Cooper (after the coma). Perhaps Coop's memory went into Socket 15 when he initially approached it and he had to survive until Part 15 to catch up with it.. Mike's message to him is you just need to survive: "Don't die" x3. Perhaps Naido wanted Coop to experience the everyday suburban life as Dougie to improve his soul, or something.

Also, when Jeffries says "this is where you'll find Judy", the number 8/infinity sign appears. I wonder if this is a reference to Part 8, when Judy enters the world during the atomic bomb test at White Sands, but also a reference that Judy (evil) is infinite.

In Part 6 there is a close up of a telegraph pole at the Fat Trout Trailer camp with the number 6 on it ....

So, Coop (bad and good), Laura, and Judy, are moving between worlds (the TV Twin Peaks world) and our reality - our side of the screen. Coop moves from Twin Peaks TV world into our reality in part 18 (which is hyper real, no background music), bringing Judy's infinite evil into our world - cue horror scream from Laura as we hear Sarah Palmer (possessed by Judy) scream and the lights go and out, signifying Judy's arrival into our world.

I've been wondering this for a while. The rules for this wiki specify that articles for in-universe topics need to be written in the past tense regardless of the living/dead status of the topic. (Ex: "Dale Cooper was ..." instead of "Dale Cooper is ...") I was just curious about the significance of this.

I have thought about this for a while, can't seem to figure it out. Why did David Lynch choose to make his own character deaf? Does it mean that he doesn't understand/hear things as others do? What do yall think?

Just to let you know, if you didn't notice. When Agent Cooper falls into the purple ocean, the woman with no eyes takes him. He is besides a strange bell. That thing appears also in the house of the fireman.

So, I've been running a homebrew online panfandom roleplaying game for about 7/8 years now on Insanejournal. Recently, we've started to incorporate TP characters (both canon and AU version) into the game.

Anyone here a good writer, who'd like to possibly join and play with us?

The pale horse could represent imagery of trickery and treachery leading to death. In the Woodsman's incantation (episode 8), "This is the water, and this is the well. Drink full and descend" could represent the well of deep, universal knowledge. To "drink full" is to descend from the surface world of appearances into the knowledge of darkness underneath. "The horse is the white of the eye and dark within" could represent intimate treachery, as in "Don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes," meaning don't attack until you are close.  "And dark within" could be a reference to the Trojan Horse, again an instance of trickery. Saying that "The horse is the white of the eye AND dark within" seems to suggest that all humans are vulnerable yet capable of darkness.

Historically, a white horse represents the archetype of the hero (the knight on the white horse who saves the maiden). Special agent Dale Cooper is the quintessential knight on the white horse as he tries to save Laura Palmer from being murdered. But even he must confront the fact that he is "dark within." Given this context, it is interesting that the white horse appears just before a death (or murder). Is Lynch saying that we should not place complete trust in our heros?

Yesterday I saw a new band called Fat Trout Trailer Park and it made me think of references in music, either in lyrics, band names, or song titles...

My friend told me about the band Twin Peaks.. how do people feel about them?

Hey people, I was thinking: what if the red room it's just a word play refered to the green room in Tv shows? That's why its in color (the future). Fireman' house in contrast is older ( black and white), and there is a cinema.

Does anyone else think that Jack could be the father? Audrey and he apparently had sex in his plane the day he left for Brazil. Yet this is not even mentioned as a possibility. Also why is Jack not in either the dossier complied by the Major or the one by Tammy Preston?
