Angelo Badalamenti was an American composer whose work included the music for Twin Peaks, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me, and the 2017 revival. Badalamenti is best known for his work with David Lynch having scored Blue Velvet, The Straight Story, Mulholland Drive in addition to the Twin Peaks franchise.
He participated with Lynch for the first two albums of Julee Cruise. He also took part in the Music of David Lynch album with the songs "Laura Palmer’s Theme", "Dance of The Dream Man" and "Twin Peaks Theme" also incorporated in the short film Psychogenic Fugue for the David Lynch Foundation.
Badalamenti composed scores for dozens of films, television shows, and video games. He won one Grammy Award, a Lifetime Achievement Award at the World Soundtrack Awards, and the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers Henry Mancini Award.
