Bob was an employee at the Great Northern Hotel in February 1989.

While a group of Norwegian businessmen prepared to sign a development deal with hotel owner Benjamin Horne, Bob told co-worker Julie Duvic to make sure that they did not hear about the murder of Laura Palmer that morning before they signed.
