Don Sinclair Davis, Ph.D. was an American character actor, theatre professor, painter and captain in the United States Army, best known for his role as Major Garland Briggs on Twin Peaks and in Twin Peaks: The Missing Pieces. Through the use of archive footage, Davis posthumously appeared in the 2017 revival of Twin Peaks.
Davis was also well-known for playing General George Hammond on Stargate SG-1.
