Doorway picture frame

A picture of a doorway was given to Laura Palmer by Mrs. Chalfont.
In a dream, Laura entered the picture frame into a room and made her way into a second room where Mrs. Chalfont pointed her to yet another room. Here, Mrs. Chalfont's grandson awaited in the dark. He snapped his fingers and the room became lit. The room then dissolved into the red drapes and zig-zag floor of the red room.[1]
