Dougie's ring was a golden wedding ring inscribed with "To Dougie, with love, Janey-E"[1] was given to Douglas Jones by his wife, Janey-E.

In 2016, the ring was discovered in the stomach of Garland Briggs' decapitated corpse, discovered in Buckhorn, South Dakota.[1][2][3]
