Carl was the son of Gwen and Larry.
Shortly after his birth, his aunt Lucy came to visit.[1] His mother brought him along when she accompanied Lucy back to Twin Peaks a few days later and he was brought to the Twin Peaks Sheriff's Station. As his aunt held him while watering plants, Andy Brennan entered the station and fainted at the sight of Lucy carrying the baby.[2]
