Marvin John Nance, known professionally as Jack Nance and occasionally credited as John Nance was an American actor of stage and screen who appeared in Twin Peaks and Twin Peaks: The Missing Pieces as Pete Martell. He appeared in the 2017 series through the use of archive footage. Part 17 was dedicated to Nance.
Nance was best known for his work with David Lynch, having additionally appeared in his films Eraserhead, Dune, Blue Velvet, The Cowboy and the Frenchman, Wild at Heart, and Lost Highway.
