Jeremiah Johnson is a 1972 film directed by Sydney Pollack and starring Robert Redford in the title role. It is based partly on the life of Liver-Eating Johnson as told in the books Crow Killer: The Saga of Liver-Eating Johnson, by Raymond Thorp and Robert Bunker, and Mountain Man by Vardis Fisher.
