Lara Flynn Boyle is an American actress who played the role of Donna Hayward in the original series of Twin Peaks. The role was taken over by Moira Kelly in Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me.
Boyle was approached to appear in the 2017 series of Twin Peaks but declined the offer to return.[1][2][3] Although Donna does not appear in the 2017 series, a photo of Boyle as the character can be seen in the Palmer home and her vocals for the song "Just You" were re-used.
