In the late 1940s, L. Ron Hubbard lived in Los Angeles and pursued a career in science fiction writing until he moved out to the Parsonage in Pasadena.[1]
Alan Traherne moved to Los Angeles and found work as a sound technician in the motion picture industry after graduating in the 1958 class of Twin Peaks High School and attending community college in Spokane.[1]
On June 6, 1968, Robert F. Kennedy was shot in Los Angeles. Hours later, he was reported to be dead.[2]
In April 1969, newlywed Norma and Hank Jennings honeymooned in Los Angeles, where they took a movie studio tour and attended a taping of The Tonight Show hosted by Johnny Carson.[1]
