Marilyn Monroe was a notable actress.

Beginning in December 1973, Dale Cooper felt that her death was somehow connected to that of United States President John F. Kennedy.[1] While dictating a tape to Diane Evans in February 1989, Cooper expressed troubles with the nature of Monroe's relationship to the Kennedy family and who really killed President Kennedy.[2]

Marilyn Monroe (June 1, 1926 – August 4, 1962) was an American actress, model, and singer.

Considered an icon and sex symbol of the mid-20th century, she is best remembered for her appearances in such films as Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, The Seven Year Itch, and Some Like it Hot. She additionally appeared in the film Bus Stop, opposite Don Murray.

Twin Peaks co-creators Mark Frost and David Lynch initially collaborated on a film adaptation of The Goddess, a biography of Marilyn Monroe, though this was never produced. Nevertheless, Monroe was an inspiration for Laura Palmer in Twin Peaks.[3]

According to Rosemary Clooney's autobiography Girl Singer, Monroe cradled Clooney's infant son Miguel Ferrer for over an hour while attending a party hosted by Clooney in 1955.[4]
