Mark Twain, born Samuel Clemens, was a writer and humorist.

In 1892 Twain was scheduled to read his novel Huckleberry Finn at the Old Opera House in Twin Peaks, Washington. However, he cancelled this event and instead explored the forests surrounding Twin Peaks.[1]

Samuel Langhorne Clemens (November 30, 1835 – April 21, 1910), best known by his pen name, Mark Twain, was an American writer. Among his best-known works were the novel The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and its sequel, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.
