Miguel Ferrer was an American actor who appeared as FBI Agent Albert Rosenfield in Twin Peaks, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me, and posthumously in the 2017 series.
He previously worked with Mark Frost on an episode of the television series Hill Street Blues and starred in Frost and David Lynch's On the Air as Bud Budwaller.
Ferrer is also known for his role as Bob Morton in RoboCop, making him one of three actors who appeared in this film to later have significant roles in Twin Peaks. The other two actors are Ray Wise and Dan O'Herlihy, though Ferrer only shared scenes with Wise in Twin Peaks.
Ferrer died of throat cancer on January 19, 2017.
