- 1984 – Following a dream, Laura Palmer rides her pony Troy to an abandoned gas station at 1400 River Road and finds Margaret Lanterman, the "Log Lady," who says she was also told to go there in a dream. They sit together in the woods for several hours, talking about mysteries in the woods and owls, among other things. Laura leaves feeling safe and happy.[1]
