- 1949 – Congressman Richard Nixon forwards the transcript of his interview with L. Ron Hubbard to General Nathan F. Twining, deeply concerned about Hubbard's revelations regarding JPL founder Jack Parsons.[1]
- 1986 – During a blackout in Low Town, Laura Palmer steals a kilogram of cocaine from a gang of drug dealers, then escapes with Leo Johnson and Bobby Briggs after an intense confrontation. While under the influence, Laura drives to the Cash and Carry and hits a young girl's cat with her car. She apologizes profusely to the little girl, Danielle, who forgives her and tells her not to be so sad.[2]
