Steven Spielberg is an American film director, producer, and screenwriter. Considered one of the most popular directors in film history, he is known for films such as Jaws, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Schindler's List.
A fan of Twin Peaks, Spielberg expressed interest in directing "Episode 8" but this never came to fruition, as series co-creator David Lynch directed the episode instead.[2]
Spielberg later directed Lynch in the role of John Ford in his 2022 film The Fabelmans.
