Where does his middle name come from?
- It comes from My Life, My Tapes and it was apparently intended by Frost/Lynch so that his name could also be D.B. Cooper, much like Sheriff Truman shares his name with Harry S. Truman. MrBelpitsLegs (talk) 14:13, November 25, 2016 (UTC)
- I believe that it was their intention but I want to put an in universe reference in the article. I searched the word "Bartholomew" in an electronic version of My Life, My Tapes but the word didn't come up. I also couldn't find a reference to him merely having "B." at the start of a middle name, I admit i did not check the whole show searching for it. But as I said before, it seems that My Life, My Tapes is not a source on the matter, unless there is a typo in my version and that would be why my search was not succesful.RingoRoadagain (talk) 17:50, November 25, 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah, I just checked my copy as well and it doesn't have it. Interesting, I could have sworn it was in there. Wikipedia cites a book called Weird Washington for the Bartholomew name, but I can't find a free version of that book online. I would assume it contains a quotation from Lynch or something like that. "MacLachlan in 1990" is clearly 25 years later. What the hell? 188.8.131.52 19:38, August 21, 2017 (UTC)
