Texas was a state in the South Central United States. It was bordered by other states New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana, as well as Mexico.
History[]
With several co-conspirators, Aaron Burr planned to seize land in Texas, as well as Louisiana and Mexico, with the intent of instating himself as ruler. One of the conspirators, James Wilkinson, exposed the plot to President Thomas Jefferson in 1805 while neglecting to admit his own involvement.[1]
On November 22, 1963, President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas.[1]
In March 1989, Windom Earle sent a gift-wrapped package containing an article of Caroline Earle's wedding clothes to a law enforcement agency in Dallas.[2]
After crossing and arriving in an unknown year, Dale Cooper journeyed to Texas in search of Laura Palmer. In the city of Odessa, he found Carrie Page. Believing she was Laura, Cooper convinced her to leave Odessa with him for Twin Peaks, Washington.[3]
