The Unguin Air Force Base (also known as Unguin Field) was established in the late 1940s as an airport 15 miles south of Twin Peaks, Washington. In the 1980s, upgrades were arranged for the facility, which were completed slowly to deliberately distract the public from the construction of Listening Post Alpha.[1]

It was named after James Packard's wife.[2]
