White Tail Mountain[1][2][3] or White Tail Peak[4] was a mountain located on the western side of Twin Peaks, Washington.[1] Alongside Blue Pine Mountain, it was the namesake of the town.
History[]
The mountain was likely formed in prehistoric times when the Okanagan subcontinent collided with North America, resulting in volcanic activity. This additionally formed the nearby White Tail Falls[1] while Owl Cave formed from dormant lava tubes.[2]
In 2003, Lawrence Jacoby bought an acre of land on White Tail Peak, where he lived in a mobile home. From there, he began to broadcast his webcast program, The Dr. Amp Blast in 2006.[3]
